5 Things To Find The Right Golf Fitness Expert

We have seen it happen on all of the tours and now it is a part of many weekend golf warriors’ routines. Golf fitness is playing a larger and larger role in everyone’s game. With the development of new technology, many fitness professionals can now develop golf-specific training programs for their clients that will improve their performance on the links. This does come with the caveat "Buyer Beware" as some trainers are attempting to pass themselves off as having training in how to create a golf specific workout when in fact it is just a marketing concept for themselves. So now the question becomes: How do I find a golf fitness expert? Here are some tips. 1. Ask yourself if you will be more comfortable with a man or woman. Seems simple enough. You want to find someone who will listen to you but yet still push you and drive you to find new personal bests. 2. Before you begin looking around, know exactly what you want for your golf fitness. Have a set of golf fitness goals in mind, and find the trainer that will most likely fulfill those goals. Depending on your goals and your budget, you may be able to accomplish this in a class or group setting. 3. Make sure to find a personal trainer with a certification from at least one of the major national organizations, such as the American College of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, or the National Academy of Sports Medicine. In addition, a personal trainer that has been certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) i
s very well trained on how to use golf specific exercises to improve your overall fitness and golf game. 4. Narrow your search. After you have a clear idea, and have checked with the national organizations, find interview the trainers near you. Ask them for references and talk to their past clients. Talk to the trainer themselves prior to training. Understand how you are going to achieve your goals and what it will entail from a time standpoint. Your personal trainer should set up a series of achievable goals (a certain amount of weight lost, a certain amount of repetitions, etc.) or else the workouts will start to feel meaningless, which will lead to a loss of motivation. 5. The trainer selected should have experience with golf-specific training. A golf-specific workout program emphasizes strength, flexibility, and balance and should include each of these aspects in your golf workouts. Each of these categories will not only improve your game, but also help prevent injury. The price of a personal trainer can vary drastically depending on the area of the country you reside in. The National Strength and Conditioning Association’s survey of trainer prices found an average of $50 per hour, with a range of $15 to $100 per hour. As the golf fitness craze hits the masses, golfers of all levels are getting their golf games into shape as well as they are getting themselves into better overall shape. A qualified personal trainer who has been trained in golf specific training can go a long way to helping them achieve their golf fitness goals.

Why Not Earn Online With Your Own Income Earning Websites Or Blogs?

When it comes to earning online many people first start by joining a marketing program of some form and then work on promoting that program to as many people as they can; they do this by adding their referral links to traffic exchanges or promoting it in forums etc. While this can have some results the biggest problem for the most part is that every man and his dog is often promoting the exact same page in the exact same place so the odds of someone actually joining said program via your referral link get smaller and smaller with each passing day.

Sometimes all it takes is adding your own personal touch to see those small numbers rising and nowadays it’s a lot easier than what you might thing to set up your own income earning website or blog.

With blog platforms like WordPress and Blogger etc. you could have a blog up and running within a few minutes and free site creating software like NVU you could have a multi-page website online with the click of a few buttons.

Your first consideration is whether to set up a blog or website and there are pros and cons for each, though ideally depending on what type of online business you want to run you’d have both. Setting up a blog is probably the quickest and easiest thing you could do as it requires little to no html etc knowledge and depending on where you host it you don’t even have to upload any files etc.

If you decide a blog is the way to go your next step is to decide on your platform and where you want to host it: whether you want free or paid hosting; while there are many great free blog hosts out there in the long run spending that few dollars a month for your own hosting is well worth it. For example if you decide on a self-hosted WordPress Blog (depending on your hosting provider) you could have that blog online with the click of a button. Once it’s set up you can then change themes, add a variety of plugins that help when it comes to search engine optimisation, adding a variety of income streams or provide all sorts of other useful tools.

After you have it set up and online you can then promote your chosen marketing program by adding your own personal thoughts to it: why you like it, how it works for you, questions and answers etc. More often than not people interested in a program of this description will be looking for personal testimonies and other information so if they can see there is a real person behind the program being promoted they are often more inclined to join.

Of course by setting up your own website or blog you’re not restricted to just promoting that one program, you can set up new pages or posts that include a variety of other related income streams. You could set up a blog dedicated to one chosen subject and build on it by adding many different articles each of which promote a different related affiliate program etc. in truth you’re only limited by your imagination when it comes to starting your own income earning websites or blogs.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, by working on your own websites and blogs you can spread your wings a little and not rely on just one source of income.

(15) How To Create And Work Your Leads For Super Profits

There’s a formula to make lead prospecting work and here it is.

1. Make an offer to your prospect that matches their agenda. Whether you use email, direct mail, newspaper advertising, it doesn’t matter. The goal is to put something in front of our prospect that matches their concern and not your concern. Here’s an example. If you want to have a prospect respond for your offer for mutual fund selection, you don’t send a mailing “Get my mutual fund selection system for only $99.” Such an offer is about YOUR agenda. Here’s the offer that matches their agenda, “Six Tactics that Financial Institutions Don’t Want You to Know About Selecting the Right Mutual Funds on Your Own—Get your free copy now.”

2. Once your prospect responds (requests the free booklet or report), you send it. DO NOT contact the prospect until you have delivered the promised item. Print your photo, your name, credentials on the front cover and have your biography (well written to illustrate your expertise) in the back. Make sure you have plenty of unbiased non-sales content in the report. If you send an item that is effectively a sales pitch, the prospect won’t want to talk with you. People don’t want to talk with sales people. That’s why the item must be 100% informative, educational and add value to the prospect’s agenda.

3. After you send the item, you contact the prospect (whether it be by phone or a follow up mail piece). Let’s say it’s by phone and your objective is to sell something on the phone or sell an appointment. For example, you sell mutual funds and you want to meet this prospect. Your call is about their concerns and the only way you will know their concerns is to ask. So the goal of this call is not to state how brilliant you are or how great your mutual fund choices are. The goal is to find the prospect’s hot button that will motivate them to action.

4. Once you’ve identified the prospect’s hot button, you ask them how important it would be to solve this issue—what’s the payoff. When they tell you, ask them to explain further. In other words, get them to “taste” the payoff. Now here’s where mediocre sellers screw this up. They blurt out “well I can help you with that!!!” Now, you’re just another sales person, drooling at the thought that you have a motivated prospect. But the master does not volunteer a solution. The master asks “would you like to see how other people like yourself solve this problem?” Because people are addicted voyeurs, they will absolutely want to find out how others solve their financial dilemmas. You can then volunteer to meet and show them examples of other person’s solutions.

5. You have now maintained your position as a consultant and not a sales person. You have controlled your urge to talk about what you want to sell and you have remained focused on the prospect’s objective. You now have a lead that’s a real prospect. You can now see why most lead systems don’t work Let’s explore what you’re probably doing now to generate and follow up on leads.

First, the lead probably did not respond to anything. They are merely a name that supposedly meets some criteria. This is not a lead, it’s a suspect. Leads are people that respond to some marketing effort. They raise their hand (i.e. respond) and indicate interest. So if you don’t have a strong marketing message up front to get prospects to indicate interest, you’re already sunk

Next, you probably call that person to solicit an appointment. But you’ve got no credibility with them. You have failed to establish your expertise. You must first show them why you’re credible. And there is no better credibility than to be an author (or to have printed materials personalized with your name and photo and the prospect assumes you’re the author).

Last, you probably contact prospects and tell them about your “stuff.” You don’t ask them enough questions or even seem to care about them. Since they responded to your marketing, you assume they are a buyer so you jump into your pitch. You immediately establish yourself as another hack they don’t want to talk to.

Is it now clear why it takes 200 leads to make one or two sales?

(14) Professional Money Management

Many of us cringe at the thought of budgeting, some of us may even feel ill to the stomach! But it doesn't have to be hard; sometimes all you need is a helping hand. But where do you start and what advice should you seek? There are a range of options available for all different issues and a whole wide web full of information out there too.

Let us consider the situation of a fellow we’ll call Bob. He is 27 years old, works for an insurance company, drives a new car, lives in a nice apartment close to downtown, and likes to go out with friends for drinks and dancing. He is also up to his ears in debt. He has no savings. Many months he runs out of money before he can pay all his bills, and he’s been making up the shortfall by running up charges on his credit card. His cards, however, are now near their upper limit and his bank is not allowing any more charges. Bob is struggling to even make the minimum monthly payment, so he is having trouble imagining how he can ever pay off his credit card account.

Bob undoubtedly needs help with his finances. He seems to be incapable of drawing up and sticking to a budget, and he doesn’t realize the perils of running up high interest long-term debt. He is living way beyond his means, and he is on a sure path to bankruptcy unless he seeks help soon.

Does Bob’s situation describe your life as well? No, hopefully, but you may be a good candidate for financial help as well. Anyone who has tried to place their spending on a budget and repeatedly failed, causing them to fall farther and farther behind in their bills and grasping for easy cash injections, should consider trying to find some help.

What sort of help should you seek? That largely depends on the type of help you need. If it is just assistance in figuring out your budget and getting some basic advice you may consider hiring a bookkeeper or accountant to sort out your finances. If you need a loan consolidation to rid yourself of multiple high interest loans your bank might be able to help. If you need more complex help, such as negotiating with your creditors, you might seek the services of a debt relief organisation. In severe cases, you should seek professional legal advice.

If all you need is information, the world is at your fingertips. Just look on any good search engine for help on budgeting or debt management and you will be swamped with information. Much of it is good, much of it is redundant (good advice tends to be the same, no matter the source). But be careful for scams and do not give out any personal financial information until you are sure the organisation can be trusted.

(13) Leave Your Legal Worries To A Highest Rated Personal Injury Lawyer

Injury and pain are very much a part of our lives and they go hand in hand with the little joys that we experience. When an injury is accidental and unintentional then we have no one to blame for our misfortune. However if there is an involvement of a third party in the event of a personal injury it is justified for the victim to feel anger towards the person or organization that has caused the personal injury. The injured victim would then want to receive justice and hope for compensation from the party that has caused the personal injury either due to negligence or intentional. In such circumstances it is advisable to hire the highest rated personal injury lawyer to handle the case on the victim’s behalf.

The highest rated personal injury lawyer is experienced in handling many such cases which involve personal injury caused to an individual due to a third party involvement. The lawyer is well qualified to handle the nitty-gritty involved in handling such cases which could get quite complicated. If the party causing the injury is influential in nature and has the necessary contacts in high places it could unduly influence the case. Especially if a personal injury is caused due to the negligence of a corporate then the individual can be assured about the legal fight getting messy with many allegations on the individual’s competence. This is usually the result when the corporate has to protect its good name in the market and win the personal injury case. Here the highest rated personal injury lawyer may be able to use his past experience with such cases to save his client from legal loopholes.

The victim and his family can easily trace the highest rated personal injury lawyer through a detailed research on the internet or maybe even simply surfing through the yellow pages. Past references from clients who have won their cases due to the highest rated personal injury lawyer can also help in deciding in favor of the lawyer. As it is crucial for the client to trust his lawyer, hence all measures should be taken to ensure that such a faith can be duly established. Only when a client completely trusts the highest rated personal injury lawyer will he be able to relax and then the lawyer can get all factual information about the accident. Complete divulgence of the entire episode is necessary for the lawyer to be able to build up a rock solid case for his client.

It may occur to the client that the highest rated personal injury lawyer will be very expensive as far as his fees are concerned. Hence it is best to clarify all financial terms and conditions before actually hiring a lawyer. Most reputed lawyers do not charge anything for a consultation and till the case has been decided in his client’s favor. So it is quite possible that the victim of a personal injury may be able to get the best lawyer without spending much from his own pocket. An awareness of every fact is therefore essential before a lawyer is hired to fight a case on the victim’s behalf. Once you have decided to hire the highest rated personal injury lawyer you can rest assured that you have a very good chance of winning the case against the accused.

(12) Why I Am Where I Am

Have you ever stopped to think about why you think like you do, why you do the things you do, and why you get the results you do? It really is worth your time to stop and give it some thought. This time of reflection, though sometimes difficult and uncomfortable, can be quite revealing and helpful in moving forward physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially. In my last two articles I touched briefly on this topic, when describing an internal cleaning. I believe this topic is so important it is worth revisiting in more depth.

We are each the sum total of our thoughts, beliefs and experiences because once again, our thoughts lead to our beliefs, which in turn lead us to our actions and then to our results. It is our thoughts and experiences that have brought us to where we are today.

Science has revealed that we have approximately 66,000 thoughts a day, most of them repetitive and negative. For example: so and so is not acting like I want them to; what I must do, that I do not want to do; what I lack and so on. The vast majority of our thoughts come from our parents, the schools we attended, the church we joined and the environment we live in. The adults in our life as well as our culture, have passed on to us their knowledge, their beliefs, their ways and what they had been programmed to believe and think. Today, as an adult, our thoughts are often tied to our spouse's, our siblings', or work colleague's thoughts. Thoughts and beliefs can come to us from as far back as many generations ago. Our ancestors as well as the current people in our lives could not pass down what they did not know or what they had not experienced. It does not make them wrong, it just means they were unaware of certain things.

Beliefs tend to be formed early in life and remain fixed. The majority of our basic beliefs are actually formed by the time we are 7 years old. When we are little we often accept unconditionally, therefore as an adult if you do not ever question your thought patterns and beliefs, you could be a 7 year old walking in a 45 year old body. In turn, whatever we fail to change, we pass down to the people we are in contact with; children, spouses, colleagues, friends and so the cycle continues year after year, and from one generation to the next. We can only ever give away to others what we know. The good news is that we can each change our thoughts if we become aware of them and recognize the results they bring into our life. Easy? Not likely, but definitely worth working at. It is the secret to getting different results in your life.

" Think for yourself. No one else is qualified." - Frank Vizarre

We have all experienced negative and positive things in our life. An important point to ponder is that nothing has meaning except the meaning we give it. Some individuals choose to internalize the negative, hold onto it and it literally cripples them and gives them dis-ease. Others having gone through similar events emerge stronger and move forward because of it. Whether you are conscious of it or not, you will continue to suffer the consequences of an event until your spirit lets it go.

Think of it, if you were to see someone holding on to a hot rock and he or she was screaming, " My hand is burning." you would simply reply, "Drop the rock." It could be simple and quick. Yet how many of us continue to hold on to things that are hurting us.

(11) How to Set Up and Leverage an Infrastructure For a Small Business

It takes more than just an idea, some money and an office to get a business up and running. You need an infrastructure. Just what does it mean to set up a business infrastructure? It takes some planning and making a few key decisions before you sign any legal paperwork. For example, on a small scale, you are going to need someone to help you with the bookkeeping and someone to help you with payroll. But there are many more considerations.

First, you need to decide what type of company you want to become. As important as it was in determining the culture of your company, you will want to consider your business’ structure, keeping in mind who is in charge, how big you want the company to grow, how many employees the business will have and how you want to handle day-to-day operations. There are many business structures in the United States. Most states have information online covering the type of structure available.

Here are six types of business structures, each with its own legal, tax and business ramifications:

1. A Sole Proprietorship is when an individual owns and operates a business by him/herself.

2. A Corporation, of which there are many types, is a legal entity that exists separately from its owners. There are many benefits to incorporation, including limiting the owners from personal liability and separating taxes from the owners and the company. Offering stocks or bonds can generate additional capital for a corporation and a corporation can live on, well past the death or retirement of the owners.

3. A Limited Liability Company (LLC) offers liability protection similar to that of a corporation but is taxed differently. One or more managers or one or more members may manage LLCs.

4. In a Limited Partnership, there must be at least one general partner that acts as the controlling partner while the liability of limited partners is normally limited to the amount of control or participation they have engaged in.

5. General Partnership is when two or more people form an association for profit.

6. A Limited Liability Partnership is designed for accountants, lawyers and architects or companies with services related to those professional areas. A limited liability partnership is required to maintain certain levels of insurance as required by law.

The next two components to setting up the nuts and bolts of your business involve people and processes.

It’s important to line up your advisor relationships. Think of your key relationships as a group of advisors, whether that’s an official board or some of the people you work with on a daily basis.

Assemble a board.

You may not have one, but I highly recommend it. I found that one of the most important things in building both of my companies was having a board of directors. When establishing and growing a company, it's helpful to have people you respect and whose opinions you respect giving advice about business issues. But the most important thing I have found is that a board is critical for my accountability. Having a board of directors forces me to prioritize and have discussions I wouldn’t otherwise have. In short, it sets aside time for me to get out of the weeds and think more strategically about building my business.

Pick an odd number total of people for the board. (If you ever have a vote, you need an odd number.) Three is a good place to start. Hold regular recurring meetings to get the most benefit. Also, use the board for your network effect since they are tied into a wider network and can help with hiring and any kind of support you might need.

Make friends with the landlord.

It’s very important to build a relationship with this person. I think of my father and his businesses: every time he needs more space, he calls the landlord and they work on it together. This has been true for me as well. Consider your landlord as part of your advisor circle. As you grow, you will rely on him or her to help with the physical aspects of the business.

Hire an attorney.

This depends on the type of business you are running. Does your company have special needs, like a product that requires patents and/or trademarks? Or, you may just need to have an attorney guide you through the process of becoming incorporated, or whatever your business structure is. I have always been fortunate to work with great attorneys that not only protect the legal interest of the business but also can provide valuable insight into growing the business. Think about it, a good attorney touches hundreds of businesses in his/her career and all that experience can be at your fingertips.

Work closely with an insurance agent.

Find an insurance agent to help you set up the company benefits. Once you have found that person, work together to set up your plans. Keep in mind that the decisions you make about benefits have long-term repercussions. For example, if you want complete health coverage for yourself and your family, when you have one employee will you offer the same to them? When you have 10 employees, will you offer it to them? If your company is only going to be five to 10 employees, which is the size of the majority of small businesses out there, you might not be as concerned about paying vastly different amounts (based on the family and ages of the insured) for the same benefits across all employees. But if you plan on growing bigger, then you might be concerned, for example, that those employees with families may have to pay significantly more. If so, you may then have to compromise on a plan that works for everyone.

Hire a bookkeeper and an IT guy.

I would argue that the two most critical pieces of your business operations are keeping your finances and your technical operations running smoothly.

For IT help, turn to any number of resources, including Geek Squad on a national basis, or any number of smaller, regionally-based software and hardware support companies.

Equip the office.

You don’t have to spend a lot of money to have a nice office. You can buy inexpensive furniture from IKEA or Costco, and keep décor to a bare minimum. I have done this at both of my companies and I think it reinforces some important values for our customers and our employees. And we have managed to still make it nice.

For my most recent venture, we went for an open environment, no cubes, just desks and phones. We really lucked out because we got all the furniture in our office for free and at an enormous discount from a company that was going out of business. In addition, we got $150,000 worth of servers for $15,000. You have to be prepared for moving fast on some of these things.

Other key decisions in setting up your business infrastructure include incorporating the tools that will manage day-to-day operations and deciding what the company benefits and policies are.

Line up your tools.

Leverage technology whenever you can. I know from experience that the Web is the best way to do business. It is the driving force of my current and former businesses and has driven many of my business decisions. All of my advisers need to connect to the Web. Most of our tools—from our phones to our financial information—are accessed online. For me, the web allows me to work from anywhere. This is one of the key advantages of starting and running my own business. As they say, “the noose is looser and the leash is longer.” As a result of Web tools, I am able to run a 25 person business with limited infrastructure, (one day a week of outside accounting/bookkeeping help) and one day a month of IT.

For our phone system, we use Voice over Internet Protocol (or Voice Over IP). I choose VOIP for a couple of reasons but mostly because it is simpler to set up and cheaper than working with the phone company. One Internet connection can get you as many lines as you need. I had a hard time investing in phone lines for all employees since we will most likely move and most employees don’t use a phone to get their job done.

Determine your Policies.

In terms of other company policies, it’s best to have a framework or, better yet, a written policy before things come up. Figuring out policies on the fly is awkward for you and your employees. I know this from experience. So take a little time to decide what you want to do about maternity leave or vacation time. You and your employees will be glad to know what the policy is.

I think it’s really important to provide stock to all employees, so that everyone is an owner. We spend most of our lives at work and all of us want to belong. Giving stock to employees is one way of telling them that they belong. You of course get the added benefit of employees knowing that they are an integral part of the growth and success of the company.

Another policy to mull over before making a decision is whether you want to offer the more traditional vacation time and sick leave versus an overall Paid Time Off (PTO). PTO is like having a bank account of time for your employees to draw from for vacation time, as well as sick leave, a mental health day, or an emergency. After experiencing traditional vacation policies for the last 20 years, I switched to PTO. The main reason is that I wanted to give the same benefit to all employees. My experience shows that some employees never get sick while others use all of their sick time immediately. It just wasn’t fair to the folks that didn’t get sick. With a PTO policy, all time off is the same. If you are not sick you get more time for vacation. This seems like a better message to send to employees.

When I started my first company, our health insurance covered the employee but not the dependent. As the company grew, I saw how much people were paying for their dependents. I wanted to do more for employees but wanted to be fair to employees without dependents. When I started my next business, I made a decision to go with a Health Savings Account (HSA) High Deductible Insurance plan. The key to the HSA is that once you offer and contribute to the HSA, the employer is required to use a high deductible health insurance plan. The HSA is an employee account that employees and employers can invest money into to save for future medical expenses,. Most contributions and all earnings are tax free. Employees then use the funds in the HSA to cover medical expenses not covered by the deductible of the health insurance plan. The funds contributed by the employee and employer are vested immediately and are available to the employees to use today or in the future. I made a decision to contribute all of the savings from the higher deductible health insurance premiums and then some more to the employee accounts. Ultimately, I increased the contributions so that I felt that employees' dependents were getting some coverage. The HSA allows me to contribute equally to those without dependents to use at some future date.

(10) Bad Credit Doesn't Rule Out Unsecured Credit Cards

Many people believe that because of their bad credit, unsecured credit cards are not available to them. While it may be more difficult, there are options for people with bad credit who want an unsecured credit card to build their credit or have available for use in an emergency. While a secured credit card is the most commonly recommended option for people with bad credit, unsecured credit cards ARE available - even for those with the worst credit.

Bad Credit: Unsecured Credit Cards vs. Secured Credit Cards

One of the easiest ways to get a credit card when you have bad credit is to opt for a secured credit card. With a secured credit card, you deposit money in a bank designated by the credit card company to serve as a 'security deposit' - an assurance that they'll get their money if you default on payments. Depending on the lender, that deposit might be equal to your desired credit limit, or slightly higher or lower. A security deposit of $300, for instance, might get you a $150 line of credit with one company, a $300 line of credit with another, and a $400 one with yet a third. The interest rate is generally competitive, since the company has a guarantee of getting its money if you don't make payments.

An unsecured credit card requires no security deposit. A bad credit unsecured credit card will often have either a high APR (annual percentage rate), high fees, or both. How do the two stack up against each other? Here's a comparison from two actual credit card offers that are sitting on my desk as I write:

Secured Credit Card
Security Deposit: $250
Annual Fee: $35
Setup Fee: $35
APR: 15.40%

Credit Limit Increases: $100 increments, each require $100 deposit

Bottom Line: It will cost you $370 to maintain a $250 credit limit for the first year, with at least $250 up front, at an APR of 15.40%. You'll have $170 available credit upon receipt of your card. You'll have to put up an additional $100 every time you want to increase your credit limit.

Bad Credit Unsecured Credit Card
Annual Fee: $48
Setup Fee: $29
Participation Fee: $72 (annual, billed at $6 monthly)
Program Fee: $95 (one time fee)
APR: 9.9%

Credit Limit Increases: $25 (per increase of $100, at their discretion)

Bottom line: It will cost you $244 for the first year, all of it billed to your credit card on your first statement, to maintain a $250 credit limit with an APR of 9.9%. You'll have $72 credit available upon receipt of your card.

In the long run, while a bad credit unsecured credit card may cost you more, you won't be tying up your money up front. Either card will help repair your credit as you make payments on time and regularly, but the unsecured card has an APR that's almost 5% lower. You're the only one who can decide which is the better option for you - but it makes sense to weigh all your options before you decide that your only way to have a credit card is with a security deposit.

Landscape lighting systems should work to extend the themes established by architectural light into the general landscape and create a sense of unity between human structures and Nature. This can also serve as a form of security lighting, because shadows often pool around building corners or courtyards between buildings. Keeping these areas well-lit minimizes the opportunity for burglars or vandals to approach the building unseen.

Parking Lot Lights

Parking lot lights should be selected based on wind load requirements in your area and foot candle minimums required by law. Dark sky laws must also be carefully considered to determine which fixtures will best produce a glare free luminance contained within facility boundaries with no light spillage falling into surrounding streets and neighborhoods.

Parking Garage Lighting

Vertical footcandles play just as crucial of a role as horizontal footcandles when it comes to parking garage lighting. Vertical luminance is essential to the depth perceptions drivers rely upon to safely navigate around obstructions within the garage. Determining the balance between vertical and horizontal footcandles more often than not requires special software that smaller companies may not be able to afford. These companies can gain equal footing with larger firms by letting RLLD Commercial Lighting input data into our software to produce a proposal that reflects mathematical accuracy and precision selection of lamp wattages and fixture placements.

The complexity of architectural lighting systems can quickly add up to a very costly expenditure that is often beyond the budgets of smaller organizations. Low voltage equipment and fluorescent fixtures can be used in many of these settings to reduce power costs, and as LED lights continue to emerge, even more power savings can be generating by replacing traditional high pressure sodium and Metal Halide fixtures. For the convenience of contractors, licensed DYI lighting designers, and smaller organizations on tight budgets, RLLD Commercial Lighting also offers architectural lighting packages consisting of a blend of basic equipment and specialty equipment that can be customized to any site lighting scenario.

RLLD Commercial Lighting experts stand ready to assist the client and the serious inquirer on a complimentary basis both through online channels and phone-based advisory services. General inquiries can also expect a high level of attention and expertise for a small, reasonable consulting fee.

(8) Personal Marketing Strategies for Women in Business

Marketing is a basic skill that every woman in business should foster in order to remain on top of her game. But marketing does not apply only to business owners and solo professionals. The goal of all marketing is to develop yourself into a valuable resource, thereby making your input, your service and your product a critical part of other people's success.

Marketing is a basic skill that every woman in business should foster in order to remain on top of her game. But marketing does not apply only to business owners and solo professionals. Employees, too, need to market themselves daily within their organization and in the industry at-large. The goal of all marketing is to develop yourself into a valuable resource, thereby making your input, your service and your product a critical part of other people's success. It makes you more desirable, and this is important whether you are looking for your next client, a promotion at work, a raise or opportunities in a different organization.

One marketing battle that women struggle with is this: Marketing makes them uncomfortable or at the worst, they think of it as dirty word! As a person who thrives on marketing, I have given this a lot of thought and have spoken with several colleagues for their thoughts and opinions on this topic. Below are some of the common themes that I uncovered along with strategies to reevaluate the role that marketing plays in your work. I believe that marketing is the best life skill to embrace, and I hope that these strategies will help you to move beyond these barriers and perhaps even turn marketing into one of your favorite activities!

Theme 1: "I don't know how to network effectively."

This is the most common theme I hear from women. This baffles me because by nature, women are relationship builders and at its very core, marketing is about building relationships. To build relationships, you need to build a strong network of trusted business professionals from a variety of industries so that you can make and receive quality referrals. Women sometimes have a negative connotation about the word "networking" or simply don't understand how to network while maintaining their integrity. This is a much broader topic than will fit into this article, but the gist of networking it this: Networking will not likely bring you immediate gains. You will, however, start to build a list of respected colleagues and business professionals with whom to form strategic alliances or partnerships, conduct business, share clients, and build a list of prospects who may eventually hire you or send quality referrals to you. By networking with others in this way, you are building your credibility, which may happen slowly, but is a key part of marketing effectively. Equally as important, you must become a resource for others in your network. Try approaching your next networking event with the intention of helping at least three people with their business needs instead of collecting twenty cards that you'll probably never do anything with anyway.

Theme #2: "Marketing makes me feel phony and dirty."

As women, we tend to share a need to be authentic. Relationships based on false information are not worthy of us. Take a moment and consider the people with whom you do business - your hairdresser, your favorite clothing boutique, your accountant. I am willing to bet that these people have sharp skills and have been able to provide you with a quality service; otherwise you would not be going back to them. Now, if they can provide you with a valuable service, charge you for it and even ask for referrals, why is it that you have a hard time doing the same? When you find yourself in a rut, ask yourself, "How can I talk honestly about this situation and bring my values into play in my business?" Once you answer this question, you can start to implement these ideas into your personal marketing plan.

Theme #3: "I don't know how to get started."

There is no one "right" way to market yourself. An easy way to start is to reach out to others and be genuinely interested in their businesses and their needs and make quality referrals when you can. This gets back to the idea of forming a relationship. Use your relationship building skills in the context of marketing because this is in fact what you are doing. Your goal is to build trust and respect of others so they will add you to their mental Rolodex of high-integrity service providers to refer business. Part of personal marketing is simply "showing up," meaning that you attend events or meet someone for lunch or coffee. As an employee, this is also a valuable strategy because your lunch hour is one of the best times for form relationships with people in other departments that you normally don't work with. The point is, you must get out of your office and talk with people. If you haven't tried this approach yet, try it for a few months and you'll be ama zed at your long-term results.

Theme #4: "I don't want to exclude anyone from my market by developing a niche."

This one strikes a chord with me because it is such a common character flaw that many woman share: We try to be all things to all people. To be effective in business, it is important to know and enforce your boundaries by focusing on that which you excel, which ultimately will allow you to serve your clients to the best of your abilities. This may sound complicated, but it's not. This is what I call "Developing Your Story." Start by deciding who you are, what you offer and what you don't offer, and whom you will serve. Second, answer this question: What is unique about you, your product, service and knowledge? Once you commit to these basic tenets, only then should you start developing and implementing your marketing program. You will find it infinitesimally easier to decide where to locate your target market and you'll be able to spend your marketing budget with much greater results.

If you are one of the many women who feels negatively about marketing, I hope that this information will help you start to transform your ideas about personal marketing. The main point that I would like you remember is this: The key is to marketing with integrity is to focus on helping others first.

(7) Accidental Discovery Gives Hope To Alzheimer’s Treatment

During a recent experimental brain surgery to control the appetite of an obese man the doctors made an accidental breakthrough that may very well unlock how your memory works. It was simply a side-effect of the treatment of obesity, but the memory stimulation could potentially pave the road to treat Alzheimer’s disease.

The doctors pushed electrodes deep into the hypothalamus - the section of the brain thought to control appetite - and stimulated it with an electric current. Instead of suppressing the patient’s hunger, the deep brain stimulation unlocked vivid memories of an experience 30 years earlier. This result was nothing short of amazing and has raised the possibility of a pacemaker for the brain. It has also created a path of study now underway for patients with early Alzheimer’s disease.

Professor Andes Lozano, lead researcher of the Toronto Western Hospital, explained that after his team planted the electrodes, memory was most intense near the fornix, a grouping of fibers that carry single signals within the limbic system, which is involved in memory and emotions and is situated next to the hypothalamus.

The patient recalled in detail being in a park with friends and then his girlfriend back when he was about 20. As the electric pulses intensified he was able to relate the scene more vividly. After surgery, the patient recovered for two months, after which the electrodes were fitted in a second time. More tests showed that his ability to learn was significantly improved when the current was switched on and his brain was stimulated. It soon became clear that the patient performed well in memory tests when the electrodes were stimulated but less when they were switched off.

Professor Lozano, who also teaches neurosurgery at the University of Toron
to and is a world authority on DPS, stated that the approach could only address the symptom of forgetfulness. It would not modify the course of the disease but could still prove a useful tool in the fight against dementia. “It gives us insight into which brain structures are involved in memory,” Professor Lozano said. “It gives us a means of intervening in the way we have already done in Parkinson’s and for mood disorders such as depression, and it may have therapeutic benefit in people with memory problems.”

The technique is now being studied on six Alzheimer’s patients in an initial pilot research. Only three patients could afford to have the device surgically implanted. Rebecca Wood, Chief Executive of the Alzheimer’s Research Trust, stated that she is keeping a close eye on this research as it will be interesting to see whether this method offers any benefit to people with Alzheimer’s.

Though accidental, this ‘discovery’ was greatly appreciated and research is already underway to confirm its use as the Alzheimer’s population is expected to double among baby boomers. It has become an amazing achievement in the ongoing battle to tackle the disease and we look forward to its effectiveness on our beloved relatives.

We at Boomer Yearbook are excited and thrilled by the prospect of this type of Alzheimer’s treatment. We’d love to hear your thoughts.

(6) Summing Up Accuracy, Precision And Reliability In Time Piece

Tag Heuer has become a renowned Swiss Sports watchmaker since the 1860s due to its reliability and endurance in all areas of sports. The ability to keep track of minute fractions has led to their establishment as official timekeepers of almost every sport events; hence, becoming the global leader, pioneering in high-technological wristwatches performances with most detailed precision and accuracy.

Tag Heur has designed specialized sports watches like the Link model that is designed for both men and women. Under this line emerges Tag Heuer Calibre 36 chronometer that features the exceptional and superior Tag Heuer Calibre 36 movement.

Above anything else, the Tag Heuer Calibre 36 is included in the few but incomparable mechanical chronograph movements which have a powerful index in measuring one of a tenth of second short time intervals. This was achieved through the vibration of the balance wheel at a high frequency of about 36’000 vibrations per hour. Thus, coordination of the chronograph functions is made possible by the column wheel. Such manifestation is another trademark that only few watch manufacturers, like Tag Heuer develop and achieve.

The Tag Heuer Calibre 36 chronometer has perfectly designed and employed its patented Tag Heuer Calibre 36 movement which is already C.O.S.C or chronometer- certified automatic movement . Two designs that run under this line include the CT511A.BA05 and CT511B.BA05 which only differs in dial colors. The former is black while the latter is white.

The other features that make Tag Heuer Calibre 36 chronometer outstanding include a circular resistant-scratch sapphire crystal with non-reflective coatings embedded on even sides of the crystal. Thus, the casing is made up of block steel, with a Sapphire crystalline back casing. The bezel is perfectly fixed at the center. Also, the dial is flat, embellished and intensified with a tachometer scale which facilitates greater accuracy, precision, reliability and legitimate reading. The indices which flange around the tachometer scale are also plated in steel. In addition, the hour and minute markers, including the hands of the chronographs appear elegant in their luminescent style. Still, other remarkable details put into this chronometer include the screwed in crown. It is also supported by “S” link satin finished steel bracelet, employing a double safety clasp with folding buckle.

Adding to the Tag Heuer Calibre 36 chronometers are three specifically designed registers that illuminate a very pleasing personality alongside the monochrome Tag Heuer logo marked with “Link Calibre 36”. These models have also an incredible water resistance of about 200 meters.

There are also other wristwatch lines and models that run the patented Tag Heuer Calibre 36 movement. These include selected Tag Heuer “classics” chronographs like Monza, Monaco, Targa, Florio and Carrera and Kirium and 2000 chronographs. Still, the reign of the calibre 36 movement dominates most of the wristwatches that employ low technology movements. With the use of more advanced measurements such as this, time keeping could be as accurate as balancing sports, leisure, fun, and creativity all in one blow. It’s the wristwatch work to update, not the person anymore.

(5) Masculine Luxuries

Tag Heuer is a leading Swiss watch manufacturing company. Founded by Edouard Heuer in the 1860s, it has been dominating the market with over thousands of wristwatches and chronographs developed that captures the wrists of feminine and masculine alike. However, massive models have been dedicated to the men over the century.

Men’s Tag Heuer watches are varieties of wristwatches and chronographs with emphasis on men’s different natures and personalities. For instance, masculinity and heritage is highlighted on Monaco models. Formula 1 and epic race are featured in Carrera models. Luxurious design and exquisite quality are specifically designed for Tag Heuer SLR for Mercedes-Benz. Sports and elegance are combined for Link models. Professionalism and fun are matched for Golf watch models. Durability and water resistance are reflected on Aquaracer models. Robustness and Strength are formulated for Tag Heuer Formula 1 models. And lastly, accuracy and precision is capitulated on Microtimer models.

First of the Men’s Tag Heuer watches is the Monaco line which comes in three masculine models, Automatic Chronograph, Automatic watch and Monaco Sixty Nine. The chronograph features a square steel casing embodying a Perspex crystal and fluted crown for winding. The time display is polished with hour and minute hand polished in nickel plates. It has also three chronograph registers with 12-hour, 30-minute and 60-second functions. It may be supported by black, brown, blue and steel straps. In addition, it has a water resistance depth of 30 meters.

The automatic watch differs in the chronograph in terms of three denominators. First, it has only one chronograph register. Second, it is only available in blue or black alligator strap. And third, it has a greater water resistance of 50 meters.

On the other hand, the Monaco Sixty nine has added features on the Monaco line like the capability of manual winding using caliber 2 and quartz caliber HR03 technologies. It is equipped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystalline glass and a black alligator strap. It has two dials, the analogue and the digital, the former with luminescent pointers for hour and minute markers, while the latter with a black dial. Similar with the automatic watch, it has also a water-resistance of 50 meters.

Second of the Men’s Tag Heuer watches is the Carrera line, which comes two legendary sport models, the automatic chronograph tachymetre and automatic watch. Launched in 1963, this line serves as a tribute to Formula 1 race. The two models are almost similar in terms of steel casing, scratch-resistant sapphire glass, fluted crown, folding clasp, steel or gold bracelets and diamond luminescent hands. The main differences include the chronograph movements, wherein the former runs on caliber 16 while the latter on caliber 5. Also, the dials of the former come in blue, silver, black and brown with three counters, at the six, nine and twelve o’clock positions while that of the latter have silver, black or champagne dials, with no extra counters. In addition, the former has a tachymetre on the bezel, while the latter has none.

Third of the Men’s Tag Heuer watches is the Tag Heuer SLR for Mercedes-Benz model with an automatic chronograph. Its features include a caliber 17 movement and an automatic chronograph of the date. It has a scratch-resistance and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. It has also a black dial with luminescent hand markers, along with a tachymetre-scaled bezel. Thus, bidirectional rotating flange are also present along with two push buttons. It is water-resistant for a hundred meters.

Fourth of the Men’s Tag Heuer watches is the Link line of models. It includes six models on the line like quartz watch, automatic watch, quartz chronograph, calibre 36 chronometer, automatic chronograph and Calibre S chronograph. Launched in 1999, this line features the quality of steel as reflected on the bracelet. In 2005, a new collection was added that harmonized sports design with elegance. In 2007, the electro-mechanical chronograph became the ground-breaking feature.

Fifth of the Men’s Tag Heuer watches is the professional golf watch. As the name implies, it is specifically designed to meet the demands and needs of golfers. Designed by Tiger Woods, it features the quartz watch that has hours, minutes and seconds functions. It also includes the black and white golf ball texture on the dial with luminescent hand pointers. The crown and caseback are also located at the 9 o’clock position to avoid wounds on the wrist upon swaying. Intensifying the golf-look is the elastic white or black bracelet for added comfort during the game.

Fifth of the Men’s Tag Heuer watches is the Aquaracer. It is specifically designed to meet the demands of water sports. As added development, its water-resistance goes up to 300 meters. Thus, the models on this line include Calibre S chronograph, automatic chronograph, quartz chronograph, chronotimer, automatic watch, quartz watch and aquagraph automatic chronograph.

Sixth of the Men’s Tag Heuer watches is the Tag Heuer Formula 1. Reflecting the sports arena with detailed sets of numerals and chronograph systems, it has been inspired by the greatest swivel of Formula 1 adventure. The designs have been specialized from the participation of the Formula 1 double World champion, Fernando Alonso. The models under this line include the Chronograph, Tag Heuer Formula 1 Indy 500 and Tag Heuer F1 chronotimer.

And the last of the many Men’s Tag Heuer watches is the microtimer. This state-of-the-art timepiece features a high accuracy and precision with a movement of 1/1000th of a second. It has been specifically tailored to meet the demands of Formula 1 motor riders. It also includes the traditional chronographs with split timing and standby modes.

(4) Private Student Loans - What You Need To Know

Private student loans should be the last stop in trying to get the money to cover your college bills because they will cost you far more in the end than most other forms of financing.

Unfortunately for college students, financial aid packages from many schools do not cover the entire cost of education. Based on your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), schools will determine if you are eligible for Federal grants and loans (Stafford Loans, Perkins Loans, Pell Grants, Federal Work Study, etc.) and these will be added to your package first.

Eligibility for grants and scholarships from some states and colleges will also be determined by the FAFSA. You have the choice to accept or reject any of the grants and loans in your package, though acceptance is usually called for, since the interest rates on these government loans is usually much cheaper than any private student loans you will find.

Once you have added up all the scholarships, grants and loans, you may find that you still need an additional sum to get through the year. At this point a private student loan may be your only realistic option. Also known as alternative student loans, they are available from many private companies.

One major difference between the private and the government loans are that the private loans depend on your credit rating. The better your rating, the lower the interest rate you can expect to receive. The better your rating, the lower the loan fee you can expect to pay to get the loan. If you have a poor credit score or none at all, then you may still be able to secure a good rate by having a credit worthy cosigner.

You will need to be certain of the terms of your loan, since there are many different terms available depending on the lender. Repayment may start immediately, or be deferred until graduation. Even if deferment is allowed, interest begins accumulating immediately, so the balance will be increasing until you graduate and start making payments. Some lenders will allow you to pay interest only while you are still in school, which will help to keep the payments down later. Some lenders will give you discounts if you set up automatic payments or if you make a certain number of on time payments.

If you do have a cosigner, they need to be aware of the possible consequences of their involvement. If you are unable to make your payments, they may be required to make the payments themselves, since they have taken on the responsibility by cosigning. It could also affect their ability to get a loan while the private student loan is still active. The reason is that their debt to income ratio will be higher, since your loan shows also on their credit report.

In conclusion, if there are other alternatives available, private student loans are not the way to go. If not, then a good credit rating or a cosigner will at least help you to get the best possible rates and terms. Contact several lenders and compare the interest rates, as well as the other payment conditions

(3) The Benefits Of Student Loan Consolidation

Are you tired of paying interest on student loans every month? Do you have increasing anxiety about your looming deadline to pay back your loans? There is an easier way that will ease your worries. Get your student loan(s) consolidated. One simple operation turns many headaches into one manageable situation.

There are many financial institutions offering school loans to college students. The problem is their interest rates are generally quite high. Students paying interest monthly on their loans often find it financially impossible to keep up. Then when the loans come due, it can be a huge burden and a disruption to building a career.

Student loan consolidation offers the best deal. Not only are the interest rates low, but also there is a 6 to 9-month grace period, only one monthly payment, and peace of mind.

Here are just a few of the benefits you can enjoy:

1. Make only one monthly payment, rather than paying several separately.

2. Make an overall lower monthly payment.

3. Applications don't require a credit card check or processing fees.

4. Have a very low, fixed interest rate that cannot exceed more than 8.25% at any time. National interest rates are now at a 40-year low.

5. Terms and payment plans that are very flexible. Providers can design your consolidation loan to meet your financial situation.

6. Ability to prepay your loan at any time without incurring a penalty.

7. Save an additional quarter-percent on your interest rate by paying electronically. Electronic debit option saves money and eliminates the chance that you'll forget to make on-time payments.

The government program is competitive with the private institutions. Student loan consolidation rates are fixed and can't be modified after the contracts are approved and signed. Whenever you graduate or cease to be a full time student, you can also enjoy the grace period that allows you time to become employed and repay your loans easily.

Students who are within their grace period, those who can't repay what they still owe on their student loans, as well as those who are still in school, may take advantage of consolidating their government-guaranteed loans.

(2) What is Postoperative Pain?

Postoperative pain is defined as an acute or chronic pain that is experienced after an operation or surgical procedure. While significant strides have been made in medicine in this regard, postoperative pain management can be quite difficult, especially in situations where the body sustained some physical trauma due to the operation itself. After extremely invasive procedure's, it is to d safe to say that nearly all patients experience some degree of postoperative pain — however, the severity will dictate what kind of treatment the medical staff will provide while the patient is hospitalized. If postoperative pain persists upon release from the hospital, pain medications and physical therapy treatments may have to continue for some time on an outpatient basis.

What are the symptoms Postoperative Pain
The primary symptoms of postoperative pain often involve sensations and soreness round the surgical site or sites. Persistent postoperative pain that doesn't go away with treatment and increasingly gets worse may be caused by a serious infection. If the surgical site is hot to the touch as well, consider it an emergency situation, and seek the attention of a medical professional right way. The most common symptoms of postoperative pain are burning, throbbing, itching, swelling, tenderness, bruising and general discomfort at or around the surgical site. Sometimes the site can become hard and sensitive to the touch. In some cases, pain can be accompanied by chills, fever, disorientation and vomiting. Should these symptoms manifest, call a doctor immediately or get to an emergency room as soon as possible
What are the causes of Postoperative Pain
Any number medical and surgical procedures can be a reason for postoperative pain. For example, abdominal surgery can produce significant postoperative symptoms. This is due to the fact that almost all surgical procedures are invasive, each involving a variety of complications and relying on physician specialties. Pain is a very often a subjective experience for most patients with medication being prescribed only after the patient has expressed a desire to be medicated. Postoperative pain can also be caused by trauma to the area that was operated on post surgery. This trauma can be introduced by the patient themselves, who may not be aware that have injured themselves if they have been heavily medicated,
Will Painwave X4000 help with Postoperative Pain?
Yes! The Painwave X4000 is an extremely effective method that can be utilized to get rid of postoperative pain. That's because this little technological wonder is a non-invasive, drug-free method that can provide real pain relief. Unlike TENS or other similar methods of pain relief it does not ‘block’ pain signals to the brain, instead it works in concert with the body’s own bioelectromagnetic ecosystem. Painwave X4000 has absolutely no side effects, and is very simple to operate. Simply take the unit and gently glide it over the surface of the skin in a small circular motion. After a short period of time, the Painwave X4000 can greatly improve blood circulation, cell activity and lymphatic movements, all of which are beneficial in the relief of pain and other discomforts. In many cases, this stimulation will greatly reduce or eliminate pain immediately, and perhaps, permanently.

Note: These statements should in no way be used to perform a self-diagnosis If you are experiencing postoperative pain, please consult you physician for a full medical evaluation.

(1) Outsourcing in Recent Recession Time

Some of my ITance friends expressed their fear regarding to the impact of the recent economical recessions over Indian economy and particularly outsourcing industry. They have view of negative impacts but I posses some converse view as I believe that a recession is actually a great time to start a new venture. Take advantage of the lack of froth now, when talent is available, resources are cheap, and you can hear yourself. In fact whenever there's a downturn people outsource more, not less. Organizations want to take costs out wherever they can.

What happens to the host countries where outsourced work is going?

Such countries show the downing trends in growth of salary, cost of living, real estate prices etc. These all make cheaper the outsourcing services for offshore companies for instance from US, UK etc. Additionally Recent currency rate further elevate profit margin for offshore companies.

Fundamentally the outsource market is strong and it will not change due to this financial crisis. Western companies are started viewing India as a strategic place to not only outsource higher-value research work, product design etc, but also to sell their own products and services. In the long-term once the dust settles in the US financial market, Indian IT and BPO companies will be in good position to attract more outsource work from the US businesses.
Recent trends of Indian outsourcing industry suggests a strategic shift from low cost services to higher valued KPO like services. This kind of trend will continue and Indian outsourcing industry will add new dimensions to the outsourcing market.
Now a day Indian offshore software and web development companies shows their smartness in dealing the recent recessions. They kept their expenses as such and higher the working time of their staff, higher the quality of out put and reduce the out put time.

Among such high quality services offering companies Perception System is one. The portfolio of Perception System depicts a reliable out put with reasonable prices.
